Model ECT055 is a high-speed duplex fiber optic data modem for transmitting one bi-drectional RS-485 data channel over a single fiber optic cable or a pair of fiber optic cables. The system is designed to support errorless data transmission with data speeds ranging from DC to 1 MBit/sec. The system support 2 and 4 wire RS-485 interfacing and speed-independent RS-485 transmission. The ECT055 is compatble with 12 VDC and 24 VAC power sources. The system features separate LED indicators for power, link status and data flow for field testing and troubleshooting.
