Model ECT055 is a high-speed duplex fiber optic data modem for transmitting one bi-drectional RS-485 data channel over a single fiber optic cable or a pair of fiber optic cables. The system is designed to support errorless data transmission with data speeds ranging from DC to 1 MBit/sec. The system support 2 and 4 wire RS-485 interfacing and speed-independent RS-485 transmission. The ECT055 is compatble with 12 VDC and 24 VAC power sources.
